Closed-toe sturdy shoes or rubber muck boots are mandatory. Open sandals or light mesh athletic shoes are prohibited in cow pasture lanes. Layered clothing suitable for changing New England weather is recommended.
Dedicated, pull-through commercial bus lane available directly at the North Stonington entrance (273 Boom Bridge Rd). Personal vehicles park in the gravel lot adjacent to the Farm Stand.
Farm tours operate in gentle rain. In the event of heavy thunderstorms, programming shifts seamlessly indoors to our covered 1791 timber bays, hayloft classroom, and enclosed robotic dairy parlor.
All guests pass through warm-water handwashing troughs before and after calf interaction. Boot sanitizing mats protect pasture genetics. Outside animals or household pets are not permitted.
Yes. The visitor barn includes modern, fully accessible ADA-compliant public restrooms and multiple handwashing sinks with antibacterial foaming soap.
Yes! We have an expansive covered pavilion with 12 picnic tables available for student and family use before or after your scheduled tour time at no extra charge.
Schools and private groups may reschedule with at least 48 hours notice at no penalty. Severe weather cancellations made by the farm receive a 100% full refund or immediate priority reschedule.
